there are so many different spellings for the words when you translate them into spanish. how would you say "I ride the bus" in spanish? in this case what is the part of speech of the word ride? How do you translate english to spanish?
No No Man, I will tell you why several answers here are incorrect:
1) "Calbagar" is to ride, but ONLY when talking about riding horses
2) "Montar" is also to ride, but think of it as "mount". Again, it is used for horses, but even still, it is more common to say "andar en caballo". Its just not used that much.
You can use the verb "tomar", which is "to take" the bus. This is the best translation, and would fit well for any form of transport: tomar el bus, el tren, el metro, un taxi, etc.
You could also use "coger" if you were in Spain or perhaps Colombia and above. "Coger" is to catch, so you can say "Cojo el bus", and its basically the same as "tomar el bus". Be careful with using "coger" in Latin America below Colombia, as "coger" has another, naughtier meaning!
they are right that it would be "yo tomo el autobus"
me is used for reflexive verbs, such as lavarme...if you say "me lavo" it means "i wash myself". if you are saying "yo" that means "I" as in "yo quiero comer" (i want to eat). i dont know how clear that is, but the reflexive verbs are when you yuse it most or when you want to say "me", as in "quieres hablarme??" ("do you want to talk to me?)How do you translate english to spanish?
One wouldn't use "ride" in spanish for a bus. One takes a bus in English as well. Ride in spanish (the verb montar) is for horses or bicycles.
I take the bus = Yo tomo el autobus. The verb here is tomar. ( to take)How do you translate english to spanish?
Hi!
Conduzo/Manejo el autob煤s
But it is "To drive"
Don't you mean "I take the bus" = Tomo el autob煤s
______
yes, you can say it too, better
Doy un paseo en autob煤s
I hope this helps
"Monto el autobus", I believe, would be the correct translation. Keep in mind that, just like other languages (including English), Spanish uses slang as well as different dialects.
The word "ride" would be the verb.
HTH
spanish is really complicated
i ride the bus= monto el omnibus
idk if its omnibus or autobus but my translater says omnibus so........
that's why english is the hardest language ever to learn. for hello you can say
