Christians why are our name meanings so important to GOD?

and will we have different names in heaven?Christians why are our name meanings so important to GOD?
I think we will have new names

I think God appreciates a child named for Him to glorify Him (intentional) but the name may have no meaning for the person named.

The name my mother "randomly" chose for me (first and middle), means "resurrection and light"

It's hard for me to believe this was merely coincidence

Names always had meanings in all cultures until recently. Now they just like "cute" names, ex. Halie, Kaylie etc.

nothing wrong with those names, but it is definitely a 21st century phenomenon to come up with cute names, rather than ones with meaning

just my thoughts...others may disagree
Your name in most of the New Testament is better translated as "your nature". Basically it means your reputation. The idea is that when you got to heaven your remade with all the baggage from this life removed. A new reputation, a new name.

Below is a link to the Old Testament concept or what a name is.Christians why are our name meanings so important to GOD?
They're not. The names are important in the Bible the same way the names are important in most fiction, 'cause the Bible's fiction and our names in heaven is a plot hole.Christians why are our name meanings so important to GOD?
Why is this important? Names mean nothing to God... I don't think your name is for your spirit, but instead it is only for the body. You don't have names in Heaven.
No. Tiago is Jacob.
I didn't know that anything was important to God.
our earth names are not

a name use to describe the character of the person
I dont personally know.... why not ask GOD?
