What programs are out there to help to translate something from english to spanish?

I need to translate a menu, from english to spanish, i would really like to use a free program if there is one..What programs are out there to help to translate something from english to spanish?
FreeTranslation (http://www.freetranslation.com ) works pretty well for simple phrases but could easy mix up the names of foods. I would suggest using an online dictionary which will provide you with synonyms, avoiding mix-ups in meaning.

Otherwise, post it on here. People tend to reply to translation exercises pretty quickly. And if you don't want it to remain on the web just ask someone to translate it via email. If you want, you can email me through my profile.
Human beings.

If you use those online programs, they are going to mess it up.

That's why you are probably in Spanish class, anyway...I am going to guess that this is an assignment, the ever popular, make up a menu for Spanish I.

If you aren't in a class, I apologize, but that's why students are assigneds such things...to learn how to do it themselves.

if you SERIOUSLY need help translating something, email it to me. I'll get to it later this afternoon for you. I'll be able to tell if it's a homework assignment or not. What programs are out there to help to translate something from english to spanish?
www.babelfish.com or type babelfish in google search. Translates almost all languages. What programs are out there to help to translate something from english to spanish?
There are many out there online that you can use but you have to be careful how you used them:

For a regular Spanish-English, English Spanish dictionary you could use www.spanishdict.com.

www.reverso.com, is similar but you can only use it for a limited amount of times. It is a dictionary but better because it tells you the different meanings of words that could be used in many ways. Make sure you click the dictionary because it is much more useful than the text translation box.

I suggest you don't use a free text by text translator because they translate phrases word for word and don't provide options for different versions of single words. If all else fails, a Spanish speaker may be able to help you. Good luck on your assignment.
