I'm writing a paper on name meanings. Dorcas means gazelle.?

I'm trying to find some names of famous paintings or literary works that depict gazelles or deers. Do you know any? Do you know what the deer or gazelle represents from a historical context?

I've already googled it. So far, I've only found that deers are synonymous with being graceful.I'm writing a paper on name meanings. Dorcas means gazelle.?
Yes, Dorcas means gazelle in Greek. Tabitha means gazelle in Aramaic, FYI.

Spiritual context

Pagan

Deer represents gentleness, caring and kindness. Her gentleness is within Great Spirit鈥檚 lodge and which embodies His love for all. Deer teaches people to find the gentleness of spirit that heals all wounds, to not try to change others, accept them as they are and that the only balance of power is compassion and love.
