Not very well, no. There has been an awful lot of research into machine translation but the simple answer at the moment is that there is no computer program capable of producing publishable quality translations without human intervention. This is due to the fact that computers struggle where words can have more than one meaning, e.g. "fair", "bear" and so on.
At some point in the future, it is likely that computers will be able to provide a good translation, at least for some types of text but not just yet.Can my computer translate english to spanish texts?
